Biography

Sifu Martyn Dyson is a senior student of Master Billy Davidson, and instructor for Ching Mo Wing Chun Schools. The standard of training and instruction is validated and directed by Grandmaster Samuel Kwok, one of the world’s greatest Wing Chun authorities.

Sifu Martyn began his martial arts training at the age of ten in Shotokan Karate. However, this soon changed when aged 14 he met Grandmaster Samuel Kwok for the first time. His level of skill was an inspiration. Having studied Wing Chun for a short while, Sifu Martyn had to postpone his training due to school commitments.

Returning to the martial arts as an adult, however, there was little doubt that Wing Chun was the path to follow……………...

Having studied and taught Wing Chun for more than a decade, Sifu Martyn is one of the most senior students and representatives of Master Billy Davidson.

Sifu Martyn also is a graduate of the University of Bolton, qualifying for the degree of Master of Education. Therefore, as a professionally trained teacher of adults, he feels that he can optimise his students' experiences both through experience of instruction, and as an authority on current adult education theory.

That said, all Ching Mo Wing Chun students enjoy Wing Chun instruction to the highest level, to a standard which is recognised and acclaimed by some of the world’s great masters of Wing Chun.
